Open idpass, verify with DigiLocker + a quick face check. You’re ready.

🔒 The app pins the idpass TLS certificate and stores your verified identity in the Android hardware keystore, unlocked only by your fingerprint/PIN. Your Aadhaar number is never stored — only a masked last-4 you can choose to share.

What’s new v1.2

Per-field consent — you decide what each portal receives.

Consent toggles at login. When a portal asks for extra details (address, masked Aadhaar last-4), you now get an on/off switch for each field — default off. Nothing extra leaves your phone unless you turn it on.
Tamper-proof approval. Your fingerprint signature now cryptographically binds the exact set of fields you agreed to share — a portal can’t receive more than you approved.
Honest device badge. Portals can see whether your key is hardware-backed (TEE/StrongBox) — no over-claiming.
Your data rights, in-app. Export everything idpass holds about you, or delete your identity entirely, from the wallet.
